The accommodation of new economic activities and the improvement of employment rates are the first requirements in the acceleration of economic development in Seine Aval :

• To encourage the development of the service sector in connection with the centres of La Défense, Cergy Pontoise and Saint Quentin-en-Yvelines.
• To reinforce the technological and industrial purpose of the area in the automobile and aeronautical industries : the economic project relies in particular on the Mov’eo centre of excellence and the mechatronic industry which is structured around the technological university centre of the Mantois.
• To promote eco-industries and river freight : the port of Limay will be developed and new platforms will be created at Triel-sur-Seine and Achères.
• To set up a new development industry around eco-construction.

Seine Aval has the assets to accommodate activities requiring space close to large population areas. It is a source for the development of weekend tourism.

The Seine Aval Town Planning and Development Agency (AUDAS) is the operator for economic development on behalf of all those involved and the contact for companies.
